Difference between AI and AGI
Generally, there is a fine line between AI and AGI I.e. Week AI and Stong AI. They are
- AGI performs tasks equally to a human; they can do tasks that it was trained for and also the tasks that it was not trained for. But Week AI is different, it can efficiently perform tasks that it was trained to. But for the situation out of that, it cannot handle
- Week AI needs human intervention and its work efficiency can be improved when there is a human touch. But for AGI, human intervention is nil.
- Week AI combines machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and Natural language processing to solve specific tasks but it cannot replicate the cumulative ability of human, like how AGI do.
- Narrow or Week AI has many running examples like customer chatbots, voice assistants like Alexa and Siri, recommendation algorithms in Spotify and Netflix, business analytic tools, data visualization tools, and many more. But the AGI is still theoretical
